The WMU of Texas is hosting their Annual Meeting and Missions Celebration on April 8-9, 2016 at Austin Baptist Church in Austin. This event will challenge attendees to make an impact in their communities for the Kingdom through passionately telling His story, creatively empowering leaders, and obediently engaging the world for Christ.
“What do these stones mean?” Joshua 4:21b (NIV)
Often after God performed a significant miracle, we learn from Scripture that a stone memorial was set up to remind future generations:
- what God did (past)
- who they were (present)
- how to live (future)
This is an invitation to meet God. We will, through worship, the Word, small group conferences, missionaries, and fellowship with one another… experience the splendor and magnificence of God Himself. Together we will explore stories of courageous leaders (Joshua 1:6-7), consecrated followers (Joshua 3:5), and commemorative acts (Joshua 4:21-24.) The annual meeting will feature guests Ernest Dagohoy & Delvin Atchinson of the Texas Baptists; Dennis Parrish of Parrish Productions, LLC; Tamiko Jones of Bethlehem Baptist Church; Andrew Mann & Proof the Dog of NAMB, and many more!
